Wonderful, fully restored gatehouse leading to the equally impressive wall ramparts with excellant views. Bikes can be hired to tour the walls if you are that way inclined, we weren't as it takes about 90 minutes depending how fast you ride. More

You have to visit the Ancient Wall while you are here to get a true feeling for it. It is best to allow enough time for renting a bike to ride further here. Even if you only have a half hour it is worth the stop to see the view though More

The walls around Xian can be ridden on a bicycles and it is not a hard ride. You must hire the bikes up there - bit bumpy but flat of course. The view is not really very good though really. But pleasant activity in good weather. More
