Impressive fountain display - very glad we visited. Easy 10-15min walk from Xiao Zhai metro station. Also very close to shaanxi history museum so can easily be combined in the same trip.

The fountain show at 8 pm is awesome. The only thing is when the wind blows your way, you are screwed.
We, me and my boyfriend were soaking wet after the show. We walked away after we got the hardest "rain". But it was very warm that day so we dried in 30 min.

Have tea if you can when you could wath poelpe strolling around.

I enjoyed the peace of the gardens surrounding the temple, the mystic atmosphere of the Prayers' Hall and nearby praying rooms. I did not like the hords of loud Chinese tourist groups invading all spaces regardless of other visitors and monks.

If you are in Xi'an you HAVE to check out the musical fountain located in the square of the Pagoda. It's the largest fountain of its type in Asia and is truly spectacular. Here is the schedule for the fountain's musical show (so you can plan your trip accordingly): Mon-Fri: 12pm and 8:00pm. Sat-Sun: 12:00pm - 10:00pm, every 2 hours....

quite relaxing to just sit and watch many people from all over the world. fountains are nice-local kids would run through water to keep cool. nice statues of historic chinese people are placed arounbd the square. many restaurants are close by.
