The Bell tower is quite famous in Xian so we made the effort to visit the Drum and Bell tower on a joint entrance ticket. When you climb the stairs to the top, you can see the drums and also nice views of the city. We only spent about 20 minutes having a look around and taking a few photos. More

Easy to find in the city centre and accessed via a walking subway where entry tickets can be bought. We visited at night and the views of all the traffic and surrounding buildings lit up was tremendous. It's not too busy in the evening but space is restricted and it does involve climbing up some steps but nothing too strenous... More
