This is a big and clean zoo. There are many animals which seem to be well taken care of. Try to reserve one day for it so that you have time to slowly enjoy all the different zones.

As a mother of a toddler, I have been to this zoo/park twice within a year. It is a well-run zoo with international standard, with the exception that the security barrier between people and animal is a lot more relaxed here than the west. They have a baby animal areas where you can touch, hold and photographed with baby tiger/koala/whatever...

This is without a doubt the best single day activity that I have done in China in the past 7 years..! It was only out done by my F1 Racing experience in Shanghai 2 years ago... With that being said this is truly a “World Class Zoo.” Many things in China usually fall short of what most would consider “International...

Would highly recommend Xiangjiang Safari Park as a day trip. Amongst lots of area's that we were impressed by at the park, having lunch while sitting next to the glass enclosure with the Panda Bears was amazing. The snake enclosure was also really well done. Really well maintained Park and very easy to get to via the Metro.
Went to the Chimelong safari park in February this year. It is quite easy to get to. Either catch a taxi or get off at the Hanxi Changlong station on Line 3 of Guangzhou Metro. There is a free shuttle bus at the metro station that goes to / from the venue. All sorts of animals from all over the...

This was the highlight of our 1week trip to Guangzhou - the interaction allowed with the animals was just fantastic. The staff were very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit here, especially for families with children. Great value for money.
Guangzhou Safari Park has an excellent desing. One part is visited by walk and other part by an electrical train or by your own car. Has so many different and interesant animals from all over the world. If you visit Guangzhou do not miss it.
The rare Koalas, Pandas, Lazy legs etc etc numerous animals and their shows were awesome. Must have a whole day from 9:30 Morning to 6:30 evening if you wish not to miss anything. Carry light luggage only. Best views on foot only until you are not against walking. The park is simply HUGE.
This park is well-managed and respects the animals they have. The selection of animals is quite extensive too. Our children got to feed milk to a tiger cub, hold a green snake in their hands and feed monkeys. Even if you have seen all the animals before, this is a good place as you really get close to many of...
