Unless you know Russian or have a guide, seeing the museum isn't worth it. It's one big room with exhibits. You get 3 different vodka shots for the tasting part. We bought some shot size vodka as souvenirs. I gave this review an extra star because the vodka each came in a matryoshka doll. Clever! My family like the dolls... More

At the vodka museum, my wife and I expected to find out about the history of the drink, the distillation process, and the culture around vodka in Russia. We were disappointed on all counts. The “museum” is a single room (maybe 1000 sq. ft) with some exhibits about the history of vodka (drawings/photos, vodka “recipes”, glassware, etc). All of the... More

We spend interesting free hour in Russian Vodka Museum. (3 shost of vodka with appetizer of course) Ticket - 150 RUB + 150 RUB (shots) + 150 RUB (guide if you want). Good location, walking from Nevsky 5 min. - Of course recommend. More

I went to the Russian Vodka Museum just because I was in the neighbourhood that afternoon. I didn't know anything about it, so I had no special expectations. When I asked about the entrance fee, they told me that there is a ticket to see the museum without a guide, and the ticket to do it with guide and vodka... More

It''s an ordinary attraction made "specially for foreign tourists", nothing tells you about russian culture or a history. You could get same impressions by visiting one of Hyper-markets or any alcohol shop in Petersburg More

very unusual little museum, but was quite difficult to find as had 3 different addresses in different books. You can pay extra on entering for a taster menu where you get 6 shots of vodkas with some bar food so you dont get too tipsy! More

I found this a bit boring really. We didnt pay for the commentary in English as we thought the exhibits would be accompanied by translated text. Not so, if you cant speak Russian then get the audio tour. More

Had dinner at this wonderful establishment. Two people, four types of vodka off the menu, entree, main and shared dessert, plus a tour of the museum complete with three more shots of vodka and traditional "bar snacks" and the total bill was $150. Amazing as some tour companies are offering the museum tour (+3 shots) for that price PER PERSON!... More

Our brief 30 minute tour was informative, but the best part of the evening was tasting the vodka and enjoying a wonderful dinner. We began our meal with a few appetizers and large shotglasses of vodka. The appetizers were tasty, the vodka delightful - especially the Bulaga Vodka - and the dinner was delicious! There were four of us at... More
