Rolling Stone Bar was the first venue with the night club/bar concept opened in the Krasny Oktyabr area. They say that initially Denis Simachev planned to open his second venue here but the owners of the Rolling Stone managed to get ahead of the competitors. Went there twice in the past month, and the place is definitely good for expats, looking for a after dinner or late night drink. The terrace faces Peter The Great statue, big lounge area, good music ranging from 80s to today, atmosphere is relaxed with a lot of trendy Russian and also friendly expats. All ages present, so can fit...

We found ourselves in Bar Gipsy this afternoon, while Moscow enjoyed 30 degree heat. We were touring the city and needed somewhere to relax for a while and rest our legs.
