The MC store is a collection of whimsical, expensive designs which are a treat to browse. I regret not picking up a little something for my home. Even if you find the designs tacky or just not your thing, they make you smile at their cheerfulness. The tour was interesting and delightful. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but the staff... More

I have read for years about this shop. The items they produce in their pottery workshop are unbelievable. One of a kind. Something you will not see in the next gift shop you enter. It was so much fun to browse the "large" display of their items. More

We almost passed this by but were glad we didn't. The MaCKenzie-Childs designs are so over the top you gotta love them, especially walking into the shop, where it is likes waves of sensory assault! I wished I loved something enough to spend the money for stuff I didn't want! We took an interesting free tour of the farmhouse, which... More

My children, ages 9 and 10, and I stopped at McKenzie-Childs as we were heading out of Aurora. Unfortunately, we missed the tour but did some expensive shopping in the store, which had some great buys on the sale table. As long as your kids are well behaved, they may like the store as much as mine did because some... More

If you are in the mood for tacky, overpriced pottery and being treated poorly by staff - then I highly suggest a visit! During our visit to the Finger Lakes, we received suggestions to visit this shop and tour the homestead. We stopped over on a Saturday morning and browsed through the gift shop. We could not believe the outrageous... More

My husband and I recently visited the MacKenzie-Childs Farm and Studio during our trip through the Finger Lakes Region. The weather had turned fall-like, offering a gentle breeze of cool, crisp, air, and a gorgeous clear day to experience the Farm & Studio. The view of Cayuga Lake from the front of the farmhouse and studio is just beautiful. That... More

You wont be amused here unless you are wealthy and like ugly pottery. I rather go buy real pottery or art for that price! More

This is a must see in the Cayuga Lake area. They handcraft all pieces here and each is a work of art and one of a kind. The views are buildings are worth the trip and do the tour of the farmhouse which shows most all of the designers work. More

I have been visiting MacKenzie-Childs and purchasing their pottery since the early 80's. Everything about macKenzie-Childs is wonderful. Their merchandise is beautiful, the farmhouse is a must see, and the grounds overlooking Cayuga Lake is gorgeous. More
