The building and surrounding gardens were beautiful, there were tours available but didn't have time to partcipate.

This nineteenth century home is not only nearly perfectly preserved but it still contains most of the original furniture and other contents such as clocks, books, and silverware just as they were in Seward's day. We were taken here by two local friends. We personally had no idea it existed, or indeed very much about the subject. This attraction and the tour guide who showed us round changed all of that. Enormously interesting to be surrounded by original furniture, fittings and accessories that were heirlooms of the Seward family. Well worth the visit.
