Decided to view this museum late afternoon and what a joy. It was small but had lots of very interesting information on the country, the people and on fauna and flora. A decent museum that shows a great deal of history, covers archeological past. It is well laid out , shows visitors the wealth of the country both in terms of material wealth including minerals, uranium etc as well as varied flora and fauna. It shows also the development of modern Namibia, it's founders and people. Well worth a visit

Well situated on the beach front, a tourist attraction, alot of things to see and also very interactive, all the history of namibia and expecially of swakopmund, how it was founded and to what it is today,alot of history dating back to the early 1700's definatly a sight seeing experiance for the young and older generation
