“Nice cathedral, but completely run-down”

The cathedral looks quite nice, but is not operated as a tourist attraction at all. In fact when we were there it looked like it was being used as a school. Inhambane is one of Southern Africa's most pleasant towns. Surrounded by a beautiful bay which is home to everything from Arab-style dhows to grazing dugongs, it has a magnificent location, with many fine beaches nearby.
