There's not much to do here other than take photos of course that is the case if you're not a Muslim Still this Masjid is quite beautiful and really showcases Islamic architecture in its splendor In any case, when I went to visit just a few days ago, I noticed that there is a new attraction within the place In... Nice backdrop for photos with the interesting angle of a moat/lagoon surrounding the mosque. 5-10 minutes by taxi away from downtown. More

Location 10-30 mins from Kota Kinabalu city. Personally, I won't brag about this. You can't enter the place but you are allowed to see thru gate and take pictures. If you had free time or happens to be that area just stop by. Don't visit on Friday around noon. This area will be busy due Friday praying. More

Capture me on my arrival by its magnificient position with sea water surrounding the mosque. It looks majestic especially its whitness and do hope it will remain the same as years goes by. Great architecture design. For those who have no idea that it is a mosque will think it is one of the king's palace. More

We didn't receive a very warm welcome when we decided to go have a look, needless to say we didn't get to see any of the inside of the mosque More

Our bus passed by during day and night, it was really nice. I never seen a floating mosque before and amazed by it. Nice especially at night. More

It is indeed one of a kind mosque & spectacular. The inside was even mesmerizing and to know it is able to hold over 1000 people or more at once, wow. More

can get very crowded on the day of worship. Great place to take pictures. The mosque is quite large. From certain views, appears to be floating as flat land around it is reclaimed from the sea. More
