This is a fairly small Buddhist temple with lovely grounds to walk around and enjoy. The monks will chant a blessing all the while sprinkling water on your head and end by toeing a yarn bracelet on your wrist. I felt serene and protected. More

I didnt appreciate much the views in this temple, seems like a mix of theme park (coz of its garden with Globe sculpture) and temple. If Watchai has Sleeping Buddha, this temple has a Standing Buddha. Would recommend this to e last priority among other penang sites More

This is an ever expanding temple, which we have seen grow over the last ten years and should be combined with the Thai Sleeping Buddha temple located opposite. There are loads of photo opportunities amongst the many temples. It is best to visit away from the coach parties when you will have the place nearly to yourself. More

This temple is well worth visiting as it is an easy bus ride from the center of old Georgetown. It it is also across the road from Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple and both temples can be done within an hour. More

This temple is right across the road from Wat Chaya. There are quite a few different buildings and things to see on the grounds - we enjoyed wandering around, as it was fairly quiet. There's also a store on the grounds, if you fancy a cold drink or an ice cream. More

Really lovely, and wonderful for demonstrating how multicultural Penang is, with art work of or statues modeled after styles from different buddhist countries. More
