A guided tour around The Blue Mansion is worth every penny of the 12MYR fee. The guides are very knowledgable and passionate about their history. You may only visit half a dozen rooms but it is enough to give you a taste of what life was like for the inhabitants at the time. The house is a perfect example of... More

Interesting history and stories of this Blue Mansion. I took the 3pm tour and Sally the guide was very well spoken and knowledgeable and passionate. The entrance fee of RM12 was very fair and everyone should visit at least once since it has been recognised as a UNESCO heritage site. More

Take the 1-hour tour with the guide and you will be very interested. Again, something good for those interested in history. More

Likes? lovely things to see , collected by discerning people. Dislikes? being forbidden to take photos, seeing others taking them -without a "permit" and being ignored! Also being forced to "stay with the tour" while others wandered at will! Did I forget to bribe the guide? More

I loved the tour guide, he was so so SO passionate about this house and its history, the tour is fairly long (over 1 hour) but it was fascinating to sit and listen the whole time. There are only 3 tours a day, so you have to check the times ahead and get there at the right time. More

The historical tour was interesting and provided a nice background to the house. I wish they talked more about the owner of the house instead of the restoration of the house. More

There are 3 guided tour per day (11am, 1,30pm and 3pm). There is very good explanation on the mansion architecture and also some story of the original owner. Been there 2 times, to bring friends there. If you like Chinese & Nyonya Baba Architecture and history, you will like this place. It is like a museum. There is a boutique... More
