OK stop to see butterfly enclosure, no time for much else, although agree it needs a lot of updating to make it a worthwhile place to visit. More

Very sad and depressing place. Animals are kept in terrible conditions, it's a prison not a garden for most of them. Such a place should not be incuded in any sort of eco-tours as there is nothing "eco" about it. More

Apart from insects and butterflies the "garden" also houses other animals in appaling conditions; it wouldn't take much effort to make their life a bit more comfortable, but for some reason small wire cages it's all the management of this place is prepared to provide. This place spoilt otherwise very enjoyable tour for me. More

The idea of this place is good, but the execution is appalling. The "garden" consists of a few ramshackle polytunnels that need some weather proofing (we went during a heavy rain storm and some of the complex was impassable and the amount of water that could get in through some gaps made one wonder how many butterflies could get out... An average size park and below average volume of butterfly although they said just increased quantity recently. More

Butterfly Garden didn't meet our expectations - as what the name suggested. Although there were various butterflies in different shapes and colors, they were trapped in a fairly small area. Also, we expected some educational aspects, such as showing various stages of butterfly development, etc, for young children to appreciate nature - but none found. Only pleasant surprise was a... The children loved it! Not only were there butterflies, but different kinds of insects, amphibians and reptiles. One of the keepers gave us a personalised tour and let the children touch the snakes, beetles, stick insects, leaf insects. The butterflies would land on our hands and it was fascinating to watch them. I enjoyed it tremendously too, never having had... More

Our children were totally stoked by the variety of butterflies in the enclosure. They also had various types of exotic insects on display and even a few chooks. The entry fee was around RM5 per person. Do not expect a modern outfitted air conditioned space. But a good experience overall. More

This butterfly garden has a great selection of animals, not just butterflies. That's the good part. The bad part is that they are not treated very well. I had to pay a lot of attention not to step on any of the butterflies. Many of them were missing parts of their wings and were barely alive. There were hundreds of... More

I was a little worried about visiting this place after reading the reviews but we found it to be a nice place to visit with lots of butterflies and other interesting insects and creatures to look at. Children would love it. The only thing I could find fault with was the lack of supervision with the butterflies as I did... More
