This place used to be a castle but had been destroyed. What's left are a few pieces of stones from the castle and a castle river. Interesting shape of the castle. Soothing to just stroll round the park.

Goryokaku Tower's primary function is to provide a bird's eye view of nearby Goryokaku Fort and park, although the viewing floor does contain detailed information and history on Goryokaku Fort, presented with dioramas and models.
