This is the place to go if you are tired with the busy life of Nagoya. This park is huge with a lot of things to see and do. A simple stroll would really take your mind into the bosom of nature and release you from city stress; I did to me every time!

I was there in Spring and the cherry blossoms were everywhere. It took my breath away and sad to say i spent more time oogling at the flowers than the animals. The animals were really not much to look at but for 500yen, is it rather cheap and i had a great time in their gardens

This place is a bit depressing with elephants in a holding pen smaller than my apartment, and polar bears that are blatently going crazy. I hate to see this place get any money until they sort the place out and make some better habitats.
