We went in April which is a little unfortunate for seeing the falls, the huge volume of water means it's very misty - the water vapour can drench you in an instance. It also means you can't do Livingstone island or the Devils' pool as the river is too high. So it is difficult for me to compare Zambia side... More

Unfortunately we were in Livingstone at easter. There were people everywhere and the park was no different. Many of our brothers from the sub continent probably need to learn a little about the etiquette of game viewing as they made it hard. I felt very sorry for two zebras that were sleeping under a tree on what was a hot... More

Two of us arrived in a four wheel drive jeep just after 4pm. It cost us k170 ($34) for the vehicle and the two of to get in. With the park due to close at 6.30pm we hired one of the gate men as a guide for k50 ($10). As we drove into the park we inquired whether it might... More

Amazing!!! Powerfull!!! Once in a lifetime... Altough I'm not sure, I think that you cannot feel so close to sometinhg soo powerfull any other place in the world. Our first question about this trip was: Zimbabwe or Zambia?!? We choose Zambia and we don't regret it one bit. Everything went perfectly well, zero problems and everyone was very friendly. Note... Writing this review since our tour group took us into Zimbabwe and there wasn't scheduled activity to Zambia! My fiance and I always believe in seeing both sides (we did both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazu as well), so we went through the trouble of hiring a guide to take us over to Zambia, getting visas for Zambia,... It was such an experience. The river was in full flood, and we got soaking wet in the rain forest. BUT took the most beautiful pictures. We gathered that it was wet, as the people that returned was soaked. It was so lovely to walk in the showers of water on a hot summers day, and just have these views... More

Although we come from Canada, and have visited the Niagara Falls, Victoria falls is a revelation. We went to several viewing points and were overwhelmed by the rushing waters, the falls, the mist, the water, the sheer magnificence of the Falls. No wonder Livingstone set his sights on coming here. Although I only went to the edge of the bridge,... More

Visited from the Zambian side. Absolutely breath taking and awe inspiring. The Falls were not in full flow as it was September but I would never have missed such an opportunity to see one of the " Seven Wonders of the World " . Fantastic photo opportunites as you can stand right on the edge behind safe barriers. If travelling... More

Seen photos but in person it is awesome. Saw it in January and the falls was in full force! Take a poncho and your camera will have to be safe from the spray - there is tons of it!! If you go to the bridge be prepared to get wet. We got some great shots.

The amazing Victoria falls - magnificent and beautiful. We were there during the least fall - apparently called the 8th stage. The heaviest fall is in April but hey, we love it still. It is a different to see something that is in front of you, feel the mist and take it everything than watching it in front of our... More
