I had been visiting Jazeera Park since I was a child. Jazeera means an island in Arabic. It is a small island in the Khalid Lagoon. It consists of rides and play areas for children. Al Jazeera park is one with lots of potential, many families turn up on a weekend to enjoy Barbeque and the scenic corniche around, but as it turns dark the lighting seems very insufficient. Hope the authorities take a note of this. The park is well maintained and the toy train is nice. More

Located in the central road leading to downtown, a spectacular park can be considered a real getaway in the middle of the city.
