The road to the top of Jabal Hafeet is unique, and the most impressing was when we passed a guy on a bike in 40 degrees celsius, who was riding up the hills - crazy man :-) On the top, you can see the palace of a member of the royal family. There are also view points in each direction,... More

One of the top ten mountain roads, we are told. It certainly is an impressive 14km drive to the top. The visitors area at the top has recently been redeveloped. There is a cafe here as well. Viewing points are found at regular intervals. More

Take a jacket as it can get pretty breezy. Definitely worth going up on a clear day as you can see for miles across the desert and even across the border into Oman. Pity that the walk to the summit from the carpark was closed (summit would be another 50m or so higher) and also watch out for the mangy... More

I dont have words to express this place. Its just a small mountain but still worth visiting. The ride up to the mountain through winding roads is breathtaking. And the view from the top is really beautiful. People come out here in groups, sit and relax. You can get to see the whole Al Ain city from the top. on... More

I looked forward to visiting Jebel Hafeet but was disappointed to find it had been turned into a theme park rather than leave nature to present a dramatically beautiful mountain, the only one in Abu Dhabi. More

As the tallest peak in the Emirates, Hafeet offers nice views of Al Ain city and the Oman border. Go first thing in the morning or at dusk for the best views and lighting. There are several little cafes at the top that offer juice, falafel, and such. Take time to stop at the rest areas on the drive up... More

This is the tallest peak in the Emirates. There is a winding and twisting road that goes up the mountain. At the top there is not much that you can do except see the city below. The best is to visit just before sun set. Enjoy the views below. The restaurants at the top are more of cafes where you... More
