While the Marmaris Marina was very beautiful, I chose to have a Turkish shave at the barbers which is outside the bazaar and opposite the Ataturk statue. I can't remember the name but I do remember that they put MILK in their shaving foam if that helps.
Anyway, all I wanted was a shave and they offered this for 15tl...

Lovely boats and Clean Bazaar plus nice Marina atmosphere.
I disliked all the hazzle the guys give you when trying to sell things such as fake watches and meals etc. take care on this as the fakes are quoted at silly top prices and you have to get price down albeit best to buy non fakes if possible and reputable...

It takes about 1 hour from Rhodes to Marmaris in Turkey by ferry. You have to have your passport with you. There so many shop's in what I call the market area, It's mostly rubbish and tat but you can enjoy the barter. The walk along the water front is lovely.

Book your boat trips through the harbour, not reps as it is much cheaper and you get to meet the crew before you sail.
