Amazing, incredible, marvelous experience! Despite the early wake up ( they picked us at 4:30 am at our hotel) the activity is absolutely recommendable: very well organised, super professional pilot (Nigel Jeffrey Tovey), very good Job of the crew and of course the landscape from the air and the view of other ballons unforgettable!

My husband and I flew over Cappadocia in May this year with Royal Balloon. We opted for a deluxe flight( longer and fewer people in the basket) which I would recommend. Our pilot was an Aussie (David) who is an extremely experienced pilot and very knowledgeable about the area. It is extremely important to fly with a company and pilot... More

Having travelled extensively throughout my lifetime I somehow forgot to experience Ballooing! This was my first experience. My caption " OH MY GOD " ( please don't be offended ) says it all. It was truly unique and a very professional end to end experience. Suat as captain was exceptional both in his experience but also in his obvious love... More

Took the longer royal queen flight and was well taken care of by captain Nigel and his crew. He really put the passengers at ease with his conscious lookout for safety enforcement, relaxed us with his humor and impressed us with his knowledge of the landscape. Only feedback was that the early morning breakfast was not the best but honestly... More

HIghly recommend it. The English Balloon pilot was first class and what's more had lots of worldly experience

Having been on a balloon in the Serengeti I was excited by the opportunity to do this again here, and I was not to be disappointed. After being picked up very early we were taken to the Royal offices to be split in to the various baskets, and to enjoy a quick breakfast (although it was too early for me... More

Suat, the chief pilot, gave us a beautiful flight with several elevations and wonderful views of the amazing countryside. We were treated like royalty with a complimentary breakfast before the ride and champagne and a medal after a PERFECT landing on the trailer! We felt in good, professional hands and so enjoyed Suat's stories. If you are in the Cappadocia... More

Our hotel recommended Royal Balloon for taking a balloon ride in Cappadocia and it was perfect. They picked us up at the hotel and took us to their offices where we checked in and had a wonderful breakfast. Then they transported us to our balloon and we all climbed aboard. Soon we were off soaring over the hills and valleys... More

It was a thrilling trip - from the beginning , after a filling breakfast, then filling the ballon with gas, the experienced pilot Ibrahim managed nice heights and down nearly scratching the rocks, but we never feared something. The landing was really "punctual" - by centimeters on the carhanger. And then we enjoyed the champagne + medals....

We choose Royal Balloon as our first ever hot air balloon experience based on other reviews here on Trip Advisor, as well as their outstanding safety record and reputation. Chief Pilot Suat Ulusoy was out pilot and guide for the Royal Queen 1 hour ride. He expertly positioned the balloon using his knowledge of lower and upper air wind currents... More
