This museum is small, but contains some worthwhile artifacts from the surrounding areas. Admission is only 5TL. The museum is a little out of the way from central Canakkale. However, if you are taking the minibus from Canakkale to Troy then it would be a short walk from the minibus station in Canakkale and you could easily visit before or... More

I wish there had been more on display! But the entrance fee was only 5 TL, which can't be beat. The museum was hard to find- far down Ataturk Caddesi- but the locals were friendly with directions. More

The museum is situated about thirty minutes walk or an 8tl taxi ride from the centre (sea front) area of Canakkale. For those interested in history and without a tight schedule it is worth visiting. Amongst others it has displays of some (few) artifacts from Troy which are displayed according to period, which provides a good addition to the structural... More
