A nice mansion in a bit off center location. Not too crowded and probably not very well advertised either. Next door to our hotel, so dropped in due to it's vicinity. Took about 10 mins to see the rather interesting rooms. Free entrance made it worthwhile to visit. Would not cover great distances to visit.

From the House Museum you've can enjoy the fantastic view of the snow-capped Beydaglari Mountains (this year we've had a lot of snow - the most in over 30 years). We found the House of Ataturk by accident on our map of Alanya. Our tour reps didn't mention it and it took us a while to find it as it's slightly out of the centre. It doesn't look as though many people visit it, the one member of staff appeared surprised to see us and had to go and turn...
