As i am a muslim my self, it was a privilege to do my prays in the the Great Mosque.It is the worlds 4th most famous Mosque!! More

only had about 30 minutes on the way back from another trip. We weren't allowed in as it was Friday. In the lonely planet it said it was the number one must see but for me there wasn't much to see and walking around the outside wall you got a sense of the scale but it was all pretty plain More

There are around 4 mosques in the medina and its worth looking at the different architecture style of the tower. More
