The course has been cleverly routed to take advantage of a huge variety of landforms and dizzying elevation changes. Scars left from the tin mine era have been imaginatively incorporated into the overall scheme, creating a unique character at the same time as establishing an indelible link with an important era in the Island's past.Designer Jon Morrow and co-designer Al Tikkanen, have created a highly strategic and challenging 6,900 yard lay out to complement the shorter and gentler old Loch Palm Course. While the course is undoubtedly challenging, numerous risk and reward options create a fun playing environment, an exhilarating test of golf and a breathtaking scenic tour around a course destined to become a golfing landmark in the region. « less

What an amazing setting for 18 holes of golf. A challenging course in excellent condition. The jungle does not give back balls. The caddies were extremely knowledgable and a joy to have with us. Some of the most dramatic holes I have seen. Overall an extraordinary golfing experience even if slightly over priced. Would recommend this course to anyone who... More

This is a great course to play , but be aware that you need a fairly good handy cap to get the most out of it as it is not an easy course to play . Really nice scenery and good quality caddies . My only issue was with the price .... I can get 2 rounds for the price... More

The course layout is exciting from hole 1 through to hole 18. The pro shop and starter setup is efficient and friendly. At least 2 very friendly marshalls patrol regularly and know what is happening.Slow play is promptly addressed. The whole show moves as it should, resulting in an enjoyable few hours golf. The fairways, bunkers and greens are perfectly... More

If golf is one of the reasons you came to Phuket on holiday then you have to do a round at the Red Mountain golf course . My advice would be to hire a golf buggy as the terrain here is steep in places and under the Phuket heat it can be punishing . This is certainly not a course... More

Please allow me to clarify that golf carts are compulsory at Red Mountain Golf Club as walking is not only not allowed, but it's close to impossible to physically walk the mountainous layout. The club also has a 1 golfer per cart policy and each golfer will be allocated their own personal caddie during their round. Thank you for your... More

Visited Phuket as part of a cruise and took the opportunity to play Red Mountain GC and was not dissapointed. The course and facilities were first class - the best greens on a Green Fees course I have ever seen (Fast and true). Hired sticks were top quality, Titliest in good order. Only downside is the cost, but unfortunately not... More
