This temple is about an hour and a half's drive from Ao Nang. We rented a car and driver for the day to visit Bang Rieng and Than Bok Khoranee park for a cost of 2,500 baht (about $80). If you're staying in Krabi and interested in seeing any of the temples, you absolutely need to go see Wat Ban Riang. We stayed in Ao Nang and couldn't find any tours that went there so we rented a van/driver for the day to head north to see the temple. It was absolutely stunning, I've never seen anything like it....
