Bright African Safaris provided our family of five with the best vacation we have ever had. The tour guide, Chandei, was excellent -- intelligent, knowledgable and professsional, and our kids still talk about him constantly. The transportation was comfortable, the scenery and animals were spectacular, the itinerary very interesting, and the hotels ranged from okay to great to amazing. It... More

We (both in our 30’s) just returned from our 6 day Safari (March 2013) with Bright African Safaris and we LOVED IT! With so many operators available, we did our research, comparing lodges, campsites and contacted about 20 different safari operators with our requests for what we wanted to see. Although the suggested itineraries were pretty similar among most operators,... More

We chose this company mainly on the basis of the reviews on Trip Adviser and were not disappointed. We had nothing booked so with just a few days before we were due to arrive in Arusha contacted the company by... More

Our private safari with Bright African Safaris exceeded our expectations. We chose Bright African because it is a local Tanzanian business owned by Msangi Charema. He is a “hands-on business man and very responsive. I communicated directly with him and he turned himself inside out to satisfy our requests. We wanted a 4 day “active” safari to Arusha National Park... More

Probably the best choice for our honeymoon we selected a 7 day safari with Bright African Safaris. Our guide was Salim a guy full of life, energy and enthusiasm. We had an amazing 7 days together, seriously missed Salim once we were relaxing in Zanzibar. Once asking about the program initially we received a very detailed itinerary. Price was in... More

We (2 adults plus 2 kids aged 9+11) undertook a 10 day trip to Arusha, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangire around end October. We wanted an individual tour which included not only game driving but some insights into socio-cultural life in Tansania (the kids attended a local school for two days and we wanted to spend some...
