The shoreline at Shitiping has stone steps. It is Interesting to sight wide variety of coastal vegetation and sea lives. An excellent place to observe the coastal geology and marine ecology.

It is such a surprise to see such a beautiful place in Taiwan which is totally out of my expectation. We spent two nights in Adagio B&B which is located in Shihtiping. The hotel is facing to the sea and you may see sunrise in the early morning. Excellent experience.

great views of the rock formations and of the coastal area, but be prepared to battle the crowds of China tourists!

This was a most wonderful experience - we climbed up to the highest point and took in a panoramic view of the rugged landscape. Waves crashing against the cliffs, rock 'stairs' stacked against each other, the blue pacific ocean and its untamed shores...we climbed up to the edge of the cliffs and stood in awe of God's creation; we laughed... It's nice here especially at dusk (to beat the heat), but the tour buses brought too many tourists in all at once (around 5:30 pm) so that the big rock is a bit too crowded... It's nicer if you can come just a tad earlier to have to whole place to yourself.

The rock formations were fascinating. A good place to listen to the sound of the waves.

This place is one I will remember with fond memories. The rock formation is so cool and the view is great. The mountains frame the background and the rocky places before the sea is coloured white, green and brown. This, added to the blue sea and crashing white waves, was unforgettable for me. Beware that there are strong winds as... More

A windy spot with spectacular rocks, rough coastline and blue seas. When there is a typhoon, this is not a place you want to be!

You cannot come any closer to great ocean wave than at Shihtiping. The coastal drive is not complete without spending some time here to just listening and watching the waves.

The area was pretty busy with big tour busses but the ocean view is very beautiful...a rocky coastal area with crashing waves.
