Do spend at least one evening out there. a lot of activities to do on the beach or you can just have a walk along the beach. do carry a jacket with you its cold............... there are even nice food joint and club to party

Korea as a whole is not a beach holiday destination especially when you compare it to its south east asian neighbours. The atmosphere is nice though and there are tons of restaurants, coffee shops and bars (and convenient stores) to grab things you need or to hang out after the sunset. conveniently located on a subway line too.

We only stayed overnight in Busan and didn't get to do anything on the first day since it was raining. Since we only had about 5 hours left to spend in Busan the next day before we move on to our next city, we had to choose our itinerary carefully.

This beach may be extremely well loved by Koreans but by international standards it is pretty average. Whilst very long, the sand is a dirty light brown colour, the water is dirty and very flat. In summer it is extremely crowded!! Far superior beaches available in Australia, Thailand, Hawaii or Vietnam.

Stopped here after a visit to Haedong Yonggunsa Temple. The beach is flanked by a whole row of hotels, and is a 10 min leisurely stroll from Haeundae subway station.
