“Experience all the charms of Route 20”

To really appreciate Route 20, continue the drive all the way into eastern Massachusetts and across that state from New York State. Centralnyr beautifully and comprehensively described the NYS section, and there is equally as much history and charm in MA. The trip across NY State on Rt 20 is a glimpse into small-town USA. Farming communities, farmstands, orchards, truck stop diners with a few historical sites and a few remaining hotels thrown in. From Buffalo to Rochester, rolling hills and farmland. Seneca Falls and the women's rights convention. Skaneateles and it's draw for tourists, the higher hills and beautiful views... More

A beautiful drive through the middle of the state, over hills and valleys with great small towns and friendly people along the way. What is not to like? I have lived along route twenty for several decades and still am in awe of the vast natural beauty and friendly way of life I enjoy every day. More
