It's a pleasant and nice museum. Like most part of museum such as photos and objects along with the explanation. Unfortunately, they are more to foreigners than local people. Most of the crew ignore local, not very nice experience because we felt like being under estimate and not getting much information like what we wanted. Despite of that, I still... More

Enjoy the long and proud history of Sanpoerna family and company and after the tour, just have a beer and a nice meal in their cafe, that is located just next to the entrance of the museum. More

Entrance is free. The museum part is pretty small. Just a few photos and objects. Words in English though. The real star is watching people hand roll cigarettes on the production floor at light speed. It's like watching a movie in fast forward. I got a bit dizzy from concentrating on the super quick and precise hands. You can be... More

Actually it's a museum and cafee in one complex but separate building. And museum is very great, it displays exclusively the heritage of famous cigarette maker in indonesia, Sampoerna (369) or Djie Sam Soe. Museum is good compare to other museum in Surabaya which own/run by city government. Many old photos from the owner and its descedant also some traditional... More

Currently this museum is still managed by PT HM Sampoerna therefore the condition is well maintained (compared to other museum... More

The powerful tobacco empire in Indonesia is well reflected in this museum. You can see hundreds of people rolling-up the ciggarette from the second floor (exclude Sundays). Simply mind-blowing. More

A highlight of the town, connected to the restaurant, also a nice spot to escape the dirt and dust of surabaya. There is also an art gallery attached often with some local pieces exhibited. No. 1 on the Surabaya list for me. More
