It might be the oldest goverment building's i've ever seen. This building must be preserved as one of Indonesian heritage which was locatd at the heart of bandung.
It's not a public place. It's government office. The best place to take picture is the field in front of this building.
we went to visit several old rooms in the building, but the higlight was climing up wooden old stairway to the top of the building, the glassy room right under its "sate" shape figure. from there you can use telescope to observe the surrounding area from distance, but on a clear day we can enjoy the view of tangkuban perahu...

If you have permitted, you can go in and go to roof top, you can enjoy the city view altought a little..
too much people hanging around the building with their motorcycles, and i could not get into the building because it was a government building that not everyone could go inside
Sunday morning and Saturday night is the best time to visit this place. On Sunday morning many people do sports here from jogging to aerobic and other stuff.
I came to Gedung Sate but there are some person that just riot in front of it. It's not good at all and polices must clear that area because it makes the city's face looks terrible
Yes this Bandung point of interest, but I thing this is just a old place. For someone who love history this pale is good
