Rent a bike and spend a few hours biking on the Marine Walk. From end to end and back it takes you some two hours slowly cycling, but you are passing a lot of bars, restaurants, market places etc., so if you are stopping somewhere for a cold drink or just for buing something 3-4 hours are easily spent. When my boyfriend came from Canada to visit me, I wanted him to experience Indonesia's rich coral reefs but he can't swim so Bali Marine Walk was the perfect choice. At that time, the water was COLD! But once you get underwater, it was really magical! The fish were everywhere around you and you can actually touch them! Boyfriend was... More

It allows for a cheaper dining and drinking experience on the beach compared to that offered by the expensive resorts. You can dine on the sand at the waters edge for a fraction of the price. They offer real value for money.

I did this in 2010 with a mobility disadvantaged friend. The staff were very helpful and he was reasonably at ease with the whole experience. Only slightly apprehensive as first time underwater. Visibility was ok and there were plenty of fish and some coral to see

The Marine Walk is very nice but the rest of the day is a waste of time. There are not enough Kayaks for those that want to do that while wasting time before going to the pontoon to walk. The food at ULU restaurant on Lemboggan Island is inedible. The flies are the only ones that will eat the food... More

This is a great water activity in Bali, particularly for those who do not scuba dive. The opportunity to walk underwater, feeding the fish and admiring the plant and animal life, is not to be missed, and the team at Bali Marine Walk have mastered the perfect offering! From the pick-up at your hotel through to the marine walk, snorkelling,... More

A 5km Boardwalk runs the length of Sanur Beach past all the hotels and restaurants and is mostly shaded from the hot sun.

This is quite a long walk and to do it justice should be done in several stages over a couple of days. There are just too many bars and warungs along the way. Don't ride a bike, you can't take in the view and talk to locals whilst trying to avoid pedestrians and dogs!

If you can't swim/dive/snorkle, this is a good opportunity to see the marine life with your own eyes. Amazing sensation touching the anemone, feeding the fish, get bitten by fish :)
