Always a very emotional place when standing, reading the names and just remembering the day that it happened. The tears just come and you try to comprehend what would make anyone want to just kill innocent people so mindlessly.

The memorial here is one of the things that all Aussies MUST visit when they are in Bali. The memorial is to those who died in the Bali Bombings and is a place of reflection. Unfortunately, opposite it is the neglected vacant block that was the site of the Sari Club and is now used as a rough parking area... More

Nothing much. Just a memorial by a traffic junction. Was informed that this is not the original site the bomb attack. This memorial is situated across Sky Bar. Also across end of Jalan Poppies ll (not the beach end).

None of us can forget this tragic events. That night, 12 October 2002, 202 people died, 240 people were injured. Let’s hope that this tragedy will never ever happened again.

One may find quiet moment to pay tribute in the midst of the bustling Legian Street. Names on the list reminds one that some went through the worst and one should be grateful that people in the area, be them tourists or locals, help to maintain security in the area.

Worth a visit - located just on the main street, just opposite a super large Ripcurl boutique, you will not miss this. Quite a sad, but humbling experience to see so many people just being there paying their respects to the victims.
