We Reserved a chair next to the place where the ceremony was. Avoid taking the boat because it does not look as good.

Our boat stopped there for about an hour to see the evening ceremony, there were thousands of people on the banks and on the boats. It starts at 7pm and lasts for around 45 minutes or so. Very colourful, laud prayers and drum beats. It sums up of how religious and spiritual India really is. Definitely worth seeing once.

the best place to see the evening ceremony with one are having 5 priests and nearby another area with 7 priests. quite a lovely ceremony. also nice during the day--- big ghat and lots to see.

If you want to see the real rituals of India in Hinduism please visit at Dasaswamedh Ghat....it was a heavy raining that evening but more then 1000 people were standing and praying to Ganges River with their traditional musical instruments....the atmosphere was very spiritual to feel a blessed person
