Short wait to get in. Security was good but did not take too long. The buildings and surrounds were very well looked after.

Seasons have changed over the centuries especially the weather, rulers have come and gone, but the Taj Mahal still stands.
The authorities manning it have done quite a bit to maintain the grounds and the monument. Compared to the architectural wonders found outside India, a lot more can be done to prevent visitors from littering and controlling the crowd.

Definitely a wonder of the world. Breathtaking experience when one consider the size, beauty, symmetry and delicate artistic carvings.

Wow what a place, we went through the day and back at sunset it was so lovely. Make sure you only take your camera, money and water. Any food or a camera tripod will be binned on entry.

We arrived in Agra the night before our trip to see the famous Taj Mahal. We took a bus, then walked to the site and stood in line for about an hour with hundreds of other people around 5 AM. Upon entering the site and viewing the Taj Mahal for the first time, it was a moment of pure wonder!...

It made me speechless. Words cannot express how it feels to actually see it and be there. Even if you already know the history of Taj Mahal, just hearing the tour guide tell it all over again gives you goosebumps. Thumbs up!
