What an amazing trip this was. The tiger reserve is surprisingly very well maintained and organized. Most of the guides also are very informative and seem to truly be passionate about their jobs. They are excited to show tigers to the tourists which makes the ride much more fun. My only tip is to book the gypsy vehicle in advance... More

This is one place we would love to visit again. The area is ard and dry. However the beauty will leave you spellbound. We put up at a place called Ranthambhore National Park. I have written a complete review of the park and the resort at the below link. http://akshaykakkar.com/1/post/2012/05/ranthambhore-a-trip-report.html Regards, Akshay. More

The vehicles were a bit of a shock to the bones but loved the wildlife, even though the tigers were keeping a low profile! More

Its a lovely destination for nature lovers , especially experiencing the live atmosphere in the woods. We were lucky to spot a female tiger for good 20 minutes time in the wild, but that after 3 safaris. Please read my detailed blog for more information http://mytravelstorybook.blogspot.in/2012/04/ranthambore-tiger-safari-and-fort-visit.html More

We spent 3 days in Ranthambore and took 5 safaris, three in the morning and two in the afternoon. We were extremely lucky as we saw 4 Tigers, all very close, so close that at times in felt like you could reach out and touch them. We did this at the end on April first few days of May and... More

Bear in mind that seeing a tiger is no definite thing. They are rare and wary. The hotter you can stand it the more likely you will see the tiger as they need to go to water holes to survive so guides know where to go. So in summer when its miserably hot, you have a better chance. Know what... More
