Want to have some fresh air inside cochin?... I used to goto Cherai beach... nice place... if u got luck you can have a kite race in the shore with your friends.. early morning and early evening is advisable to enjoy... whenever i want to cool, i go to cherai beach... less sunshades, chairs,,, but OK. More

This beach is beautiful! The ride there takes a bit and I would recommend taking the rickshaw already from the other side instead of trying to get one once you've crossed with the ferry. Nice beach, but the local men became a nuisance after a while. We had a similar problem in Goa but no where near to the degree that we experienced at this beach. seawaves too strong, locals not used to bikinis, so if you want to be on the beach, you are not alone. if you like eyecontact and talks maybe you like it. Not so much to do. More

Journey in the rickshaw was great going through some lovely villages. Sand was soft. Water was like getting into a bath. Saw Dolphins swimming close to shore. More
