Buy spices from the shop just in the square. Love and peaceful surrounded by old buildings in Eclectic colors.. Try the coffee shops or even restaurants for local food.

This is one of the spots in Fort Kochi a small island. It is easily accessible on foot. It has a small garden in front for kids.

Did our first bartering with stall holders. We were probably fleeced but we felt pleased with ourselves. You could buy your fish or prawns and then take it to a nearby cafe and have them cook it for you.

just buy fresh fish /prawns/lobsters and other seafood... and get it cooked in the 'you buy we cook' stalls. Just tell the owner not to use coconut oil...if u dont like it...the sunsets are awesome...dont miss it .

The square we were told is not the area around but actually a rectangular block near the old fort. The block is not maintained and there is no signage to mention this attraction. The area around is nice and worth visiting. The Chinese fishing nets stand tall and walking along the coast is refreshing.

Just of the seafront this is a lively place with all sorts of things on sale and has a great atmosphere. One of the interesting things I bought here was a comb carved out of horn in the shape of an elephant. I watched the guy carving it over a day or so and it was facinating to see how... More

I am very bad with names but the church we visited where vasco da gama was first buried had a lot of history behind it and was a very gud lukng church. It was an amazng experience visiting this place beacause i learnt a lot of new things

Try to see it during daytime. I only had a chance to see it night time, which wasn't bad, but daytime would have been a bit more enjoyable.
