My Kerala trip started with Munnar and ended with Kovalam. Munnar is a very fantastic place, grt climate. My tour operator got it wrong for me. Kovalam has hot climate (even in December) and especially after spending 2 days in Munnar and a day in Thekkady. The beach has more restaurants than coconut trees. Looks way too commercial for those... More

It was the first time we have visited Kovalam in April but have to say we had a wonderful time. It was quieter than previously and some shops were beginning to close down but once again the food in the restaurants was quite superb. We also took time to visit ARK which is a shelter for mainly dogs, but also... More

I visited Kovalam Beach in November 2011. I first stayed at Udaya Samudra Beach Resort for two dayswhich is located at the Samudra beach. Samudra beach is very quiet and lonely. The resort is a good place to stay if one wishes to relax and enjoy all the amenities provided by the resort. The SUPER EXPENSIVE TRAVEL DESK charges manyfold... More

During my recent Business trip to Trivandrum,I went to Kovalam Beach with my friend.Located at the Kovalam sea coast , about 13 km from Trivandrum, this unique Beach is thronged by domestic and foreign tourists alike. This Beach is quite suitable for a swim in the sea since sea tide is low at some stretches. The Koval beach line is very long and... Certainly, Kovalam beach is the best beach I have ever seen. Not a man made wonder. Sea waves flows in two directions at the same place with all the naturally grown Coconut trees arounds, fishermen busy in fishing early in the morning, tourists enjoying the morning walks and yoga, Jogging. It is a wonderful place to visit More

Kovalam is outlined by the Arabian Sea near the southern tip of India, and is 15kms from Trivandrum (the capital city of Kerala). This tropical beach is located at 720 kmsfrom Bangalore and is accessible by all means of transportation. Frequently running KSRTC and private buses takes you to Trivandrum in little over 11 hours. I managed to bargain and... More

Beaches are one of the marvels of natural wonders which are known for their perfect juxtaposition of dazzling white sands and azure blue sea. This romantic combination makes it a high flying destination where one can stimulate their sense of imagination. The amalgamated beauty of sun, sand and sea fringed by coconut trees make beaches a romantic destination where one... More

Kovalam beach; highly over-rated; over crowded, dirty, no privacy; dont know about the beaches with Leela and Taj but the Kovalam beachs (adjacent beaches) are quite dirty; there is a taxi stand right on the beach .... will never go there again More
