This cathedral is a beautiful blend-in my amateur opinion-between Indian and British(christian?) architecture. When you reach the cathedral you can clearly see the mixture of culture into one building. For those who like history, religion and architecture it is definitely worth your time to visit it. And for those who want to take part in the mass/nissal you can, because... More

Known for the rare musical instrument it houses, St Mark’s Cathedral is a historic monument. A towering 80-year-old pipe organ standing majestically by the altar and was donated in 1928 to the church by Avis F Cowdrey, father of British cricketer Colin Cowdrey as they owned a house in Bangalore. The musical instrument stands two storeys tall and has been... More

The architecture, the jacaranda trees, the space - the atmosphere all around is beautiful and the mind slips into another time. Must visit. just ignore the white monstrosity extension. How did they permit this in this beautiful space? More

It was break time at the church school, and the boys were soooo friendly! They were calling us aunty and uncle, and thsat took me back to my boyhood in India more than... More

Having stayed in a hotel in Lavely road, we went to Sunday morning service. The good old architecture, neat, clean and good admosphere. Very good message, very organised people on a very peaceful Sunday. It was amazingly peaceful experience, after 21 years of gap in the same church. People those who are attending service regularly are very furtunate and lucky. More
