A beautiful lake about 1 Hr. journey from Dal Lake, Srinagar. On the way to Manasbal lake, the scenery is awesome. A beautiful garden around the lake. One can have a Shikara ride.

The place is about an hours drive from Srinagar and the best thing abot is is that it is totally non-commercialised. Nature at its best. Do take a shikara ride in the lake and soak in the sun ( if the weather is cooperating).

The lake is much better than Dal lake and clean..the Gardens in front are clean and may be better in spring time..nothing much beyond it thou'

All the Lakes are beautiful and clean however the Dal Lake is the best and the best part is when we went, it was clean.
