Don't expect too much. This is a poor example of a Zoo but to be fair this is reflect in the entrance fee. 85 ruppe (£1) is for two Adults. The Car and fee for taking still photos. All the animals are in good condition and well cared for. There is no Elephant Ride. We went in May 2012 and... More

Visited Bondla primarily for Elephant rides, which are no longer available (stopped by the government apparently) a long way to go for a glimpse of Indian wildlife (Crocs, Leopard, Tiger, Sloth Bears, Indian Bison and snakes) More

This sanctuary is fantastic we go there every year. Last year they got their first female tiger, as the guide informed us and urged us to go to the tiger enclosure to see it. We drove from South Goa to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary - one of the lesser known places of visit in Goa. There were not many tourists, probably because it was a weekday. The approach road is smooth and you can get directions from a handy map and local people (cab/auto drivers) on your way. The sanctuary is well-maintained with ample space... More
