Its an OK place .About 12 stalls or so, selling very much the same things( Tais,bags,jewellry,sounvenirs etc). Prices can be bargained for but we managed to get only about 10-15 % discount. Having travelled extensively in Asia, the items sold does look pretty ordinary but if you want to bring home a souvenir from Timor Leste, its a good enough... More

Lovely crafts, sellers can be a little pushy but good humoured if you joke about it - some very fine local tais cloths and crafts. Worth supporting as the profits all go to the locals - no middle men. More

My favorite Tais is from Oecussi, very soft and fine. There is a movement to get more of the old organic dye recipes used once again. More
