Dili Tais market offer a wide variety of its local Tais sewn in many forms like table cover, blanket, bags and many more. Besides these beautiful Tais, there are many other local souvenirs too. Price is reasonable but do not forget to bargain More

Some beautiful tais to be had here. Bags, purses, laptop bags but not much variety. People are happy to bargain. More

This is the right place (probably the only) where you can buy local traditional hand made products and contribute to the local economy. I bought two beautiful saris... More

The souvenirs sold in the market are beautiful particularly the Timorese weaving, intricate patterns. But there is very little diversity in the items sold by the different stalls. More

Its an OK place .About 12 stalls or so, selling very much the same things( Tais, bags, jewellry, sounvenirs etc). Prices can be bargained for but we managed to get only about 10-15 % discount. Having travelled extensively in Asia, the items sold does look pretty ordinary but if you want to bring home a souvenir from Timor Leste, its a good enough... More

Lovely crafts, sellers can be a little pushy but good humoured if you joke about it - some very fine local tais cloths and crafts. Worth supporting as the profits all go to the locals - no middle men. More

My favorite Tais is from Oecussi, very soft and fine. There is a movement to get more of the old organic dye recipes used once again. More
