I'm not a fan. (Except - I loved that you could see the ocean.) I was worried about pick pockets. I was concerned about the quality of food at the various booths - we ended up going into a casino and eating at the Johnny Rockets. Still, it had some nice places - beautiful flowers, nice memorial to soldiers, great... More

what's happened to this place? all massage parlors side by side now and a place selling lizards and crabs?? no boardwalk atmosphere. there is such potential there. vendors all seemto have the same wares. Thank goodness James salt water taffy is still around. More

We strolled down the Boardwalk on the Thursday evening before Memorial Day. The weather was cool and a little overcast, but the walking was pleasant. Visually, it is not the prettiest boardwalk, many of the businesses were closed or look closed and that didn't lend itself to a vibrant atmosphere. Some of the open businesses weren't the most charming either,... More

Be prepared to walk but there is a lot to see, although some of it is a little tacky, it is a boardwalk. More

I love walking ofn the boardwalk. The salt air reminds me of my childhood. There is no better place to people watch. Of course, this is not the boardwalk of my childhood. Many of the stores are seedy, and sometimes it is better to take a quick look and then get back inside to the " comfort" of the hotels... More

People do think eco-tourism in Atlantic City, but boardwalk is IT! Boardwalk is so nice. View, restaraunts, casinos, boardwalk pushcarts, breezes, people watching, free parking if you visit Atlantic Club Casino (was the Hilton), shopping, volleyball. It is easy to spend a whole day just strolling. More

Since I could walk I have been walking or bike riding on the boadwalk, it is apart of me . Home is Atlantic City and I always make my way to the boardwalk, the shops, the piers, the restaurants. I can even remember seeing our president there when I was just a boy. Thank God it is still there More

many panhandlers, soo sad, but don't feel safe. And now people stop you to get you to sign up for the new hotel next to Revel that's actually a timeshare. Bothersom people to the point of real annoyance. More

It's a nice break from the resorts to stroll the boardwalk. You can also grab a cheaper bit to eat. It is a nice place to find huuuuuuge selections of pipes in almost all of the little shops haha And Ripley's Believe it or Not is a must see. More
