If you like to visit a green oasis just go there. A historical place with very old trees. I like to go there and read a book while sitting under the trees.

I enjoyed my visit to Beiling Park and the Zhaoling Tomb much more than the Shenyang Imperial Palace (which is still worthwhile).
There was a 50 yuan admission charge to get into both Park and Tomb. The park is very extensive - walks, lake, paddle-boats, ice-cream and softdrink stalls, nice quiet atmosphere.
The Tomb complex is stunning. Despite some "Chinglish"...
