This is a lovely classical Chinese garden. I highly recommend visiting it. It is much smaller than the Humble Administrator's Garden so it takes less time to vist. They are very different gardens. More

I guess I got my interest satisfied. It was good but not great. Next time I want to see a Suzhou garden I would go to the Huntington Library in Pasadena. More

This might be my favorite site from our China tour. Beautiful gardens. Although we were there in March before the first blooms, it was gorgeous and worth an hour or two of time. It must be so much nicer in early April with the blossoms and in the fall as well. I'd love to go back a few more times. More

The gardens are nice but make sure you plan your timing in the year to avoid disappointment. I went in February. Can't blame nature for trees being dry. Nonetheless, the gardens are beautiful and worth the visit if you have an extra day in or near shanghai. I took a fast train from shanghai. It takes about 35 mins. From... More

Very impressive garden, even in the off season. Use the guided tour if you can. We just wandered around and it was very nice but more information would have been better. If you enjoyed the Humble Administrators Garden, then you will enjoy this one. More

I would say this is your average touristy site to visit. The one thing that stood out was the amazing section of bonsai trees displayed. Some of those trees were hundreds of years old and stunning. More

This garden is huge and really nice. If you have the resources, visit this garden wearing authentic clothes and complete it with accessories. your pictures will surely come out nice. If you plan to just drop by for a few minutes, the price is not worth it. Better visit other gardens in Suzhou. More
