This was a lovely place lots of shady areas as well of history of how the Li people live, there was some entertaining along the way which was quite funny. There were a few decent spectacles and activities here, it has a great location in the jungle at the top of a small mountain with a great jungle trail to walk round. Pretty charming, though I would advise not to hire a translator/guide as I did and the poor guy had terrible English. Definitely worth a visit. More

The village meanders through the history of the minority - only spent half a day - need two days to do justice and absord. Try the street food - there are mini events througout the day.. very nice place More

The rain forest is a long walk but is nice. The other attractions aren't super interesting. Get a cab to wait before going as it's hard to find one outside. We had an excellent taxi driver. His name is mr Zhang, doesn't speak much English but honest and knows the city well. His number is ---------------- More

For starters buy your ticket though an agency if you know someone Chinese. You'll pay 160 RMB each at the door to enter the place. This to be honest this is over priced.
