there is a piano musem inside the garden. But the presentation is very poor just with pianos standing around without backgroud music or much explanation. The garden is very common in other area of China.

You have to pay rmb30 per person to enter. Its part of Gulangyu Island. It has a walkway beside the sea cliff. Also inside this Shuzhuang Garden is the Piano Museum. It is very picturesque area, we took a lot of beautiful photos here.

The place is large and worthy of an hour or two, but not if you are short of time. If the Kodaisha museum is in operation, then the additional attraction could bring up the status to a must see. As it is now under renovation, I would find it less attractive.

i was busy in taking notes, collected information of each piano in the museum. Noticed that some info have different saying in the two languages, Chinese n English versions were not exactly same!

Visit Sunlight Rock (日光岩) when you're here.
From the top you can see the entire island.
Seems like this garden, it's temple, and sunlight rock are attractions that the Chinese themselves like very much.

This place is very interesting and the piano museum is also inside this place. Lots of nice sea view scenery but the toilets are not very clean here.
