I love this museum because it is in the open space with many thanks, guns, missiles, launchers, land-mines, etc. Admission is about US$5 per entries, and you can walk around under the mango trees without many people. if you like old war vehicles, absolutely this is the place for you to take photographs. Is not really like a museum that... More

I met Keo at the front of the museum. I basically said to him, "How much is this going to cost me?" He just said it was up to me and any donation I made, again, was up to me. Well, what an idiot I proved myself to be. Keo was an absolutely wonderful guide, humble, honest and made me... More

As others have said, this is a strange place and set up for a war museum. No one offered to be my guide and I was happy for it to be that way. As an ex-infantry man with an interest in aviation I found the museum very interesting because the range of weapons from home-made hand guns to large caliber... More

I wouldn't tell anyone not to go but don't have too high an expectation. It is more like a collection of war leftovers rather than a museum, very basic displays and maintenance, however knowing the hardships this country has been through one can only give credit to the operators for trying to make a living. Our visit (we didn't see... More

The rating given to this attraction seem to depend on whether you are kind of forced to pay $20 for a "guide" or not. We had a Cambodian tour guide with us who got us into the museum and then left us to roam around - so we were lucky although the other visitors did seem to have museum "guides".... More

This is definitely a tuk-tuk ride from central Siem Reap, but driver will wait for you while you tour. It is not a typical museum, but more of an open-air collection of old Soviet and U.S. military equipment and remainders from the war. My guide was a participant in the war and had many great and compelling, though often sad,... More

The war museum cost $5 to get in and we were offered the option of a guided tour or to wander by ourselves. We were informed the guided tour would require a $20 per person donation to assist with others who have been disabled by war or landmines. I opted to pay for the guided tour and it was worth... More

The site is quite extraordinary since cows and chickens are running around and are using the tanks for shade. The museum itself is not that interesting and you really need a guide to give some information as the information on the signs is very limited. More

I went to the War Museum and honestly, it was invaluable and incredibly haunting. It is a $5 entry fee, which I think is pretty standard in comparison to alot of other entry fees in Siem Reap. At the gate, we were met by a young Cambodian War Victim, who said he would guide us around for a donation. Saying... More
